Welcome to
Craighill Cottage
Craighill Self Catering Holiday Cottage,
has been converted from a traditional Aberdeenshire farm steading (small
holding), built around 100 years ago.
The croft stands in around 9 acres of
land, mostly laid to grass, but with areas of tracked woodland for riding
and other recreational activities, a fenced Riding School, stables, private
garden and Croft garden for your own use.
For those holidaymakers wishing to bring
their own horses, there are two stables for livery with a separate grazing
area available for your horses. There is also an area for off road parking
for horseboxes.
Our situation has quiet country lanes,
offering good availability for peaceful off-road riding. Close by there is a
picturesque converted railway line and various forestry commission tracks
that offer good hacking.
Faraway Equestrian Centre is within 7
miles of the cottage and various evening and weekend events such as dressage
and show jumping competitions and some weekend shows. For more information
